This position reports to the Demand Planning Manager or the VP of Purchasing and is responsible for building, review and maintenance of product based demand plans. You will be responsible for developing website sales forecasts, B2B sales forecast combining shipment history and inventory data which result in purchase recommendations. The Demand Planner is responsible for the development of plans that achieve cross-functional consensus. The Demand takes a top down approach to the demand plan so that product based business needs are balanced with bottoms up product based business needs recommended by the planners. The MDP will be responsible for coaching and training the Demand Planners in their organization and supporting them in the development of strong working relationships with their sales organization partners. The MDP is responsible for training the planners to insure competency with system tools and demand analysis. The Demand Planning Manager must have strong managerial, communication, analytical and systems skills. Must support the business needs of the company with accurate demand forecasts that optimize sales performance while minimizing inventory risk. Should be able to liaise and influence all levels of the business and ensure that a team sprit exists between the planners and the sales account managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build, review and maintain product based SKU level demand plans.
Engage in Collaborative Planning with cross functional departments as required
Facilitate a collaborative; team oriented forecasting process incorporating input from both Sales, Product Management and Marketing, which culminates in a consensus forecast.
Responsible for the systematic delivery of the SKU level forecast to Just Enough; the Buyers’ purchasing tool.
Report of monthly forecast accuracy
Support product transition planning and forecasting at the SKU level.
Participate in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning process
Participation in special projects contributing to the ongoing development of planning systems and processes.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Minimum of 3 years planning experience
Forecasting and Replenishment software experience; Just Enough experience is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required with strong Excel skills.
BA/BS Degree preferred.
